Hailing from the island of Crete, CoreTheBand is a four-piece indie rock band headed up by charismatic front man Jacob Gale. They describe their sound as “a cross genre of Coldplay’s pop rock and Fall Out Boy’s pop punk.” They have gained several international awards and TV appearances and have also supported ‘Youmeatsix’ in Athens, and have they first headline gig at Camden Assembly on the 23rd March 2018. Their new EP “The Waiting Game: Are We There Yet?” is available now.
The track “Dress Code” is a hard driving rock song with depth and a snarky attitude. The high-energy intro mixed with some digital layers leads into the tight groove of the verse that is guaranteed to get a crowd of heads bouncing. The drums are dynamic and powerful while the other instrumentation and vocals work together to drive the song higher and higher.
