“The Light” is an optimistic upbeat track that blends blues, funk and pop music. The opening guitar work is seamless and beautifully loose while being completely on point. The groove is happy and bright with jazzy guitar lines swimming through it and topped off by sensitive and strong vocals. The chorus is backed up by soft and smooth horn section and is peaking with happiness, along with a harmony that will be stuck in your head all day. The tight groove of the instrumental breakdown is a great showcase of the bands talents.
