The Finger Guns – “The Claw”

The Finger Guns are a three-piece punk rock band based out of Seattle, Washington. The line-up of veteran Seattle musicians is Eric Chapman on drums, Arthur Hagman on bass and Steve Bergstrom on vocals and guitar. Over the years, The Finger Guns released three albums. “A Double EP”, “The Bigfoot EP”, “Yeti”, and on April 21^st, 2018 they released their vinyl debut “Sasquatch”. Pressed on beautiful antifreeze green colored vinyl, and hand numbered and limited to a run of 300, the album will be available in various retail stores across the Pacific Northwest as well as online. Shot live at Slim’s Last Chance Saloon in Seattle, Washington by Dave Wilson and Paul Williams, “The Claw” shows the high-energy classic punk show style The Finger Guns specialize in. The song starts with aggressive guitar strumming and tight accent hits before the full band kicks in with a thoughtful two-chord melody. The verses have a personal touch while continuing to have a gigantic sound, and the chorus has a classic rebel yell of “The Claw!” that gets the crowd going. Throughout the track the band shows their skill with quick stops and tight transitions between different time signatures. Clocking in at 2:29, this song hits all the right notes for a classic punk song with a modern production value and genuine heart.
