Anthony Gomes is a Toronto born singer/songwriter/guitarist who has forged an incredibly impressive career since his 1998 debut album, “Blues in Technicolor”. He has released 12 albums and performed concerts in 17 countries. Last November Gomes won ‘Best Musician (Live Performance)’ at the 37thAnnual European Blues Awards. He has also opened for a long list of musical legends including B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Robert Plant and many more. Anthony founded the Music Is the Medicine Foundation in 2010. This non-profit organization is dedicated to changing the lives of others through the healing power of music. Through private donations and winning sizable grants from State Farm Insurance and CVS Pharmacy, the foundation has funded songwriting scholarships, offered music education programs, and donated musical instruments to those in need. Gomes has just announced the release of his new single, “Come Down” from his forthcoming album, “Peace, Love & Loud Guitars”.
