Richard Lynch – ‘Supernaw’

Richard Lynch has been flying his flag of country music for over 30 years. Currently Residing in Waynesville, Ohio, Lynch truly lives the country lifestyle that influences his music. He owns the Keepin’ It Country Farm with his wife Donna and is the co-founder of the Love Tattoo Foundation assisting veterans programs for service men and women. The farm often plays host to fundraising events for the organization featuring some of the biggest names in contemporary country music. His music speaks to his values, cherishing God and his fellow working Americans, values that his fans connect to and treasure.

Over the last three decades Richard has had multiple hits on both domestic and international radio charts, been featured in several national publications, and appeared on multiple radio and television performances. Lynch has also recorded duets with artists like Ronnie McDowell and Leona Williams, and Grammy Winner, Rhonda Vincent. Richard’s accomplished career has been rewarded with his induction into the Ohio Country Music Hall of Fame and the Independent Country Music Hall of Fame.

In February of 2021, Richard Lynch released his newest album, a collection of 12 songs written or co-written by Richard, appropriately titled “My Guitar Drips Country”.

One of the standout tracks on the album is “Supernaw” Richard’s tribute to Doug Supernaw. The melodically soothing song tells the origin story of the album’s title, “My Guitar Drips Country”, it came from a late night conversation with a country music legend. He then gives a musical biography of a Texas man who loved country music, friends, and family who got a bad hand in Reno and returned home to Texas. This is an uplifting tribute and thank you to a musician for the gift he gave the world. It is heavy with emotion but never sappy, it’s a fun celebration of a life and has all the charm and optimism of a classic country hit.
