The Human Circuit is a nine-piece, Alt-Pop, Psych-Rock band from Austin, Texas. They describe their sound as “catchy orchestral grooves ranging from the mystic vibes of David Bowie to the intricate arrangements of Arcade Fire.” The band self-released their 12 track LP “Electric City” on June 17th, 2017. Since then they have gained national radio support, even locally as a KUTX Studio 1A Artist, and currently “Electric City” is receiving airplay coast-to-coast and has independently charted #95 on the North American College and Community charts. The Human Circuit has also released an impressive collection of creative music videos, leading them to be nominated for the “Keeping it Weird/Best Experimental” music video award at this year’s Austin Music Video Festival.
“Greeves” is a quirky, high-energy track that weaves together a world of sounds into a straightforward groove. The crisp piano is the strong driving force while the horns add an airy layer of emotional depth with the drums and bass engaging in an intricate and playful groove. The verses are tight and simple, leading to the gigantic sound of the chorus that hits you with a warm comforting sensation. The eclectic style and tones each band member utilizes make their sound completely unique and original.
