“Here Comes the Rain” starts right away with a mellow beat and cool groovy space fuzz rhythm. The melodic hook injects some excitement before the first verse kicks in. McCabe’s voice and cadence gives the track a grungy feel while the instrumentation adds layers of different styles, blending bluesy guitar riffs, a poppy chorus, and introspective lyrics to create a dynamic and full sound. The energies shift seamlessly from the relaxing verses into the spirited chorus, making the song a trip, taking interesting turns and going down inspired avenues. An emotional and hopeful message driven forward by powerful music and genuine spirit makes this track something really special.
